CIOG says Muslims must recommit to their faith

The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) is urging Muslims to recommit themselves to Allah and turn away from corruption in observance of Eid-ul-Adha.

In a press release CIOG President Fazeel M Ferouz said today people tend to see religion as merely a part of human existence and that “things can be perfect in this world” when it is “nothing but a test and ‘the comfort of illusion.”‘ He called on Muslims to allow the guidance of Allah’s revelations to fill their lives so that they can rise above the difficulties of the world and assist their brothers and sisters sincerely and “for Allah’s good pleasure and reward.”
