Mother and son remanded over ganja trafficking

Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys yesterday remanded to prison a woman and her son who allegedly had 52 grammes of cannabis for trafficking.

Pamela Eadie and her son Terrence Henry of Craig, East Bank Demerara pleaded not guilty to possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that on January 5 at Georgetown they had 52 grammes of cannabis for trafficking.

They will return to Court One on January 17.
