‘Professional’ guards rewarded for service

The Professional Guard Services said several ranks received monetary and other awards at its Fourth Quarterly and Annual Incentive Award ceremonies.

In a press release, the service said shift commander Andrew Brandt, inspector Tyron Brummel, armed rank Stefan Wills, baton rank Mahto Budhram, radio operator Glynis Fraser, driver Dwayne Fraser and bank/factory shift commander Patrick Simon received $10,000 each for the fourth quarter.

Ranks chosen to receive incentive awards included shift commander Paul DeFreitas who won a trophy, $35,000; inspector Ingrid Ridley, a trophy, $25,000; bank/factory radio equipped S/C Vernon Gordon, a trophy; armed radio-equipped sergeant Linden Thomas, a trophy; baton radio equipped rank Esther Vanvield, a trophy and driver Donald Headley, a trophy, $20,000.
