17-year-old on indecent assault charge bailed

Acting Chief Magistrate Cecil Sullivan yesterday granted bail to a teenaged boy who allegedly fondled a 12-year-old girl on Christmas Eve day.

According to the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court report the 17-year-old boy pleaded not guilty to indecent assault when he appeared at court.

It is alleged that on December 24, at Laing Avenue, he fondled the child. He was granted bail in the sum of $40,000 and was ordered to appear at Court 6 on March 1.
