Guyana Publications Inc has assumed responsibility for the publication of the Guyana Review monthly news magazine with effect from 1st January 2007.

The Guyana Review was launched in 1993 as a monthly news magazine and, after fourteen years of uninterrupted publication, became the longest surviving monthly news magazine in the history of this country, surpassing the New World Fortnightly of the 1960s which published 50 issues.

The Guyana Review’s forthcoming double issue, Nos. 169&170 – January & February 2007, will be published as a supplement in this newspaper on Monday the 26th February, and monthly publication will continue thereafter.
