Porter granted bail over stolen bike

A porter who allegedly stole a bicycle was released on bail when he appeared at the Wales Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Lorenzo Sim of 194 Jetty Squatting Area, West Coast Demerara (WCD), pleaded not guilty to a charge of simple larceny and was released on $25,000 bail by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton.

It is alleged that last Saturday at Jetty Squatting Area, WCD, Sim stole a cycle worth $5,000, the property of Bertram ennie.

He will return to court on March 22 at the Wales Magistrate’s Court.
