Body found on Sheriff Street

The dead body of a male person of African descent was found on Sheriff Street, in the vicinity of Subryanville on Sunday night, the police have reported.

The body, which was found around 11 pm om Sunday, bore no marks of violence.

The person was about 5′ 5″ tall, thin built, and dark in complexion. He was clad in a white jersey, brown jacket, green track pants and a pair of black sneakers.

The body is at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a post-mortem examination.
