GBA/Igloo Ice-cream boys, girls U-11 tournaments played at QC court

The Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) commenced their Igloo Ice-cream boys and girls under-11 tournaments at the Queen’s College court on Friday.

In the boys’ singles Jared Ramnarayan defeated Christopher Sewjattan 25-23, 21-17, Diquan Naughton defeated Armand Ramdhani 21-18, 18-21 and 21-18, Aman Alvis defeated Daniel Lopes 21-14, 21-14 and Sachin Ramdhani defeated Raphel Singh 21-10, 23-25, 21-17.

In the girls’ singles play-off Lisa Persaud defeated Anesa Bird 21-10, 15-21, 21-6, Rose Mendes defeated Priyanna Ramdhani 21-7, 21-18 and Mariah Low defeated Alydia Ramsarran 21-18, 21-7.

The tournament was sponsored exclusively by Igloo Ice-cream
