In your article on GPL disconnections, March 8, you quoted GPL officials as saying that disconnections are being carried out for arrears up to December 2006. This is not accurate. I had my power disconnected last week even though my December bill had been paid in full. You may wish to investigate this matter.

The anger that some consumers are expressing may well be related to what they see as excessive action by GPL. I also suspect that GPL has seen an opportunity to earn additional revenue from reconnection fees (something the GT&T used to exploit mercilessly).
