Yesterday for Sidewalk next Tuesday

The Sidewalk Film Club continues its series next Tuesday with Yesterday, the story of a woman who battles with HIV, which she contracted from her husband.

The film is being presented by the Fran?s-Xavier Bagnoud Center – Guyana Care and Treatment Network (FXB-Guyana), in conjunction with the Sidewalk Film Club and National AIDS Programme Secretariat.

In the film, rather than succumb to the disease, Yesterday chooses to fight so that she could stay alive to see her daughter in school. This story is set in South Africa, and received several accolades. Lelethi Khumalo plays the role with great sensitivity.

The film will be screened on Tuesday, March 20 at 7.30pm at the Sidewalk Cafe on Middle Street. Admission is free.
