Armed bandits rob East Coast gas station

Four men, one of whom was armed with a gun, robbed an East Coast Demerara petrol station on Friday last and carted off a quantity of items.

Police said the men confronted the security guard at the Ogle Petrol Station and relieved him of a transmitting set. The guard, Milton Simon, was tied up and robbed of a cellular phone and the men then broke into the building and stole a quantity of gift sets before escaping. The police are investigating.
