A bus conductor who allegedly had carnal knowledge of a teenaged girl was yesterday refused bail by Magistrate Melissa Robertson Ogle.

Greg Gaskin, 22, of 61 Princes Street, Lodge was not required to plead to the charge of carnal knowledge at the Georgetown Magistrate’s court.

It is alleged that on March 3 at Georgetown he had unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under 15 years.

His attorney Simone Morris-Ramlal asked for an early date for the Preliminary Inquiry to begin.

His matter was transferred to court three for April 5.
