Grand Coastal Hotel places emphasis on security for CWC

Grand Coastal Hotel is placing paramount importance on the security of its guests during the Cricket World Cup.

This 43-room facility prides its self on offering a secure environment, a Caribbean ambiance and a menu that caters to a variety of local dishes.

President and Chief Executive Officer Mokesh Daby in a media tour on Thursday at Grand Coastal Hotel, Le Ressouvenir, East Coast Demerara, said that in 2004 a series of upgrades were undertaken leading to the construction of a new wing to increase its rooms from 19 to 43.

There is also a gym with ten pieces of exercising equipment and an extended courtyard that doubles as a dining and entertainment area.

Adding to the overall atmosphere of the courtyard is the addition of the over six-foot swimming pool with waterfall, and bar nearby to cater for a cool drink after a long swim.

Additional facilities also cater to smoking guest who can do so at an outdoor patio, since the rooms are designated no-smoking zones.
