The police are investigating the circumstances under which a man was found with a gunshot wound in the chest last night at Agricola, East Bank Demerara.

According to information received by this newspaper, at about 9 pm the police received a call about a shooting at Agricola. They responded and found a man lying on the road at Evan’s Park with a gunshot wound to the right side of his chest. He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital by the ranks where he was seen by a doctor and taken into the operating room. His name and other particulars were not known.
