Venezuelan Embassy opens commercial unit

The Venezuelan embassy as part of the relocation and transformation of its administrative building has opened a Commercial Section to assume the mission of articulating, coordinating and developing commercial and economic relations.

This section has also been tasked with the promotion of commerce, tourism and investments between Guyana and Venezuela.

According to a press release from the embassy, this section has been opened as an instrument of the new Venezuelan Commercial Diplomacy implemented by the Ministry of the People’s Power for Foreign Relations.

This Commercial Section is expected to promote Venezuelan Exportable Supply and opportunities of investments with the objective of developing the cooperation between both countries.

This section, the release added, will also provide information to the Venezuelan and Guyanese public and private organizations so as to ensure the progressive development of the commercial exchange.

“It is important to highlight that the Commercial Section will be included in the external promotion network of the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Relations and will serve as instrument to help develop the cooperation relations between Venezuela and Guyana,” the release said.
