Bandits grab $80,000 from Caesar’s Palace

Two bandits robbed employees of Caesar’s Palace at D’Urban and Hardina streets location just after lunch yesterday, after placing them to lie on the ground.

According to a release from the police, the robbery took place at the Banks DIH Limited location around 13:35 hrs.

Police said the two men, one armed with a gun, entered the building and held the cashier, the supervisor and other employees at gunpoint.

They then placed the employees to lie on the ground, took $68,000 from the cashier’s cage and $12,000 from the supervisor before escaping on a motorcycle which was parked on Hardina Street.
