The sixth edition of Explore Guyana, the official magazine of the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana, was launched Thursday evening during a simple ceremony.

The first copy of the new magazine, which is published under the theme ‘Big river country, fun loving people’ was presented to THAG Chairperson Renata Chuck-A-Sang.

Publisher of the magazine Lokesh Singh said at the launching that over years the magazine has grown and the new edition now has 102 pages as opposed to 92 in the past five editions.

The publisher praised his local staff for their contributions towards what he called a “great achievement”.

“When we started we were based in St Lucia and we operated long distance but I am proud to say now that we have an office based here which is way more convenient,” Singh said. He added that each edition since the beginning features Guyana as an eco-oriented destination.
