The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T) has introduced another new deal this season.

On Christmas Day GT&T is offering a `Bingi’, where customers who buy a phone by today will be able to talk free all day (local calls only).

There is also the 50% off calls to one number during the season promotion.

In addition, there is the ITBLONGS2U! Competition where customers have the opportunity to win one Blue Toyota (V8) Tundra, by topping up their phones with credit and receiving free coupons to enter the competition. Customers can also be eligible to win one of 20 weekly consolation prizes.

In a full-page advertisement on Thursday, GT&T explained that there has been a spate of vandalism over the past week in the commercial areas of Georgetown, which has “severely affected the operations of businesses around Georgetown and caused great inconvenience to consumers in Charlestown, Lombard Street, Cornhill Street, Public Road, Ruimveldt, Thirst Park, Ramp Road, Alexander Village and Saffon Street”.
