Dear Editor,

I must congratulate members of the Guyana Police Force for their efforts to recapture the nine escapees from the Mazaruni Prison. The police force has gotten its act together and is regaining its status in society.

This success no doubt is the result of the effectiveness of both the Commissioner of Police Mr. Henry Greene and the Minister of Home Affairs Hon. Clement Rohee.

With this close collaboration between these two powerful men I can see that very soon Guyana will be rid of criminal gangs and gangsters.

I would also like to mention that since Minister Rohee was sworn in as the Minister of Home Affairs, Guyanese are much more comfortable at the rate in which the Joint Forces have been operating, trying to contain crime in society.

Yours faithfully,

A Hackette
