The media jump to conclusions against the police

Dear Editor,

I do not envy the policemen of this country at all. The old saying “do you’re damned, don’t you’re damned”, applies to them fully.

I do not know if newspapers see selling papers as more important than waiting to report the truth. Whenever the police take any action against criminals the papers and the PNC immediately come out with all kinds of criticism of the police. In the October 3, 2007 issue of the “Stabroek News” the editorial states in part,”
