This buck stopped with Mr Hinds

Dear Editor,

Over the past years or so I have had the opportunity of speaking to Mr Joseph O’Lall and of admiring his zeal and dedication to his job. In fact on each occasion I warned him to curb his zeal since his rhetoric alone was likely to create enemies for himself.

When therefore I read of his dismissal the following quotation came to my mind immediately and I quote “Oh Cromwell Oh Cromwell had I but served my God with half the zeal I served my king he would not in my age have left me naked to my enemies”.

Incidentally too, Mr Editor, as I understand it, Mr Sam Hinds is the Minister of Energy and the responsibility for funding adequate supplies of fuel falls squarely on his shoulders. The buck stops at his deck and not that of O’Lall or any other person. How our President could overlook this boggles my mind. If anyone was to be sacked it was Mr Hinds.

Yours faithfully,

Randolph J. Eleazar
