Dear Editor,

Permit me to respond to the letters of Mr Osafo Modibo.

As a rational thinking Guyanese who voted for the AFC, I continue to be saddened by Mr. Modibo’s baseless accusations. He is a typical example of why as a people we Guyanese have not progressed to the heights we can achieve. Instead of using his letters to encourage and motivate change, he is consumed by what is not.

He states that his solution to the complex problem of the marginalisation of Blacks in Guyana is “that the Government and their leaders stop ignoring African leaders who are raising their concerns”. Yeah right
