The Guyana Darts Association (GDA) will host its first darts tournament for 2007 tomorrow at the Guyana Motor Racing Sports Club, (GMRSC) Woolford Avenue.

Registration of teams gets underway from 15:00 hrs and actual playoff begins at 17:00 hrs. The players will be competing for trophies and other prizes.

The tournament to be played will be a two best of three arrangement and will be played by four players one on one. Only teams registered with the association will be participating in the games.

The tournament is being sponsored by Mark Persaud of Mark’s Jewellery Establishment.

Meanwhile, the GDA’s Annual Mashramani Tournament will get underway February 16th to 18th. Teams from St. Lucia, Trinidad and Barbados have indicated their intention to participate.

Also the Crystal Clear tournament is billed for March, with others to follow each month.
