The heat will be on at the National Park Circuit on Saturday when national cycling coach Hassan Mohamed in collaboration with the Ricks and Saric Argo Industries Ltd commence their annual cycling programme for 2007 from 09:00 hrs.

Events include the BMX 3 laps boys nine to 12 and 12 to 14 years race, BMX 2 laps, boys six to nine years race, BMX 1 lap girls six to 12 years race and the BMX 3 laps boys open.

The schoolboys and novices will race over 35 laps while the juveniles will do 10 laps. The upright cyclists will compete over five laps and the boys 12 to 14 will go for 3 laps.

Meanwhile, the veterans over and under 45 years will race for 5 laps.

In a National Sports Commission (NSC) press release, coach Mohamed stated that the winning cyclists will receive prizes presented just after the event by representatives of Ricks and Saric Argo Industries Ltd.
