Mc Gill Superstars will clash with Zeeburg Cricket Club in the final of the New Line Aqua Farm limited overs cricket tournament on Sunday at Canal Number Two Sports Club ground, West Bank Demerara.

McGill Superstars reached the final by defeating Canal Number Two.

Batting first, Mc Gill Superstars amassed 235-7 off their allotted 40 overs with Prahalad Singh and Chitanand Shivram contributed 56 and 55 runs respectively.

Chabiraj Ramcharan, who has been in good form throughout the tournament grabbed 3-47.

In reply, Canal Number Two were dismissed for 172 in 32.2 overs despite an innings of 76 from Troy Gonsalves.

Skipper Sudesh Persaud bagged 3-26 and Jagdesh Balgobin 4- for 29 runs.

Over at Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara, Zeeburg Cricket club out-muscled the highly skilled Windsor Forest Cricket Club. In a match reduced to 35 overs-a-side, Windsor Forest scored 172 -9 with Muneshwar Balgobin top-scoring with 54 runs.

Joseph Persaud supported with 30 not out. Fazal Khan picked up 3-33.

Zeeburg quickly knocked off the target reaching 176 -4 wickets in 26.4 overs.

Safraz Karim blasted 63 and Amrid Jairam, 59 not out.

Maniram Rajunauth picked up 2 – 29 for Windsor Forest.
