Grace Chips 11-Race cycle programme on today

Grace Foods International through its local distributors Geddes Grant Ltd. will sponsor today’s Grace Chips 11-race cycle programme organized by National cycling coach Hassan Mohamed at the inner circuit of the National Park.

The feature race will be a 35-lap for school boys and novices which will bring together the cream of the country’s junior cyclists, most of whom took part in the just concluded National Schools Cycling championships.

The field is expected to include Geron Williams, Chris Holder, Enzo Matthews, Scott Savoury and Chris Persaud in what is anticipated to be a gruelling race.

The first race of the day will be a three-lap event for boys 12-14 years old followed by Veterans under-45 over a distance of five laps.

Veterans over 45 will battle over five laps as well, while the Juvenile riders will be featured in a 10-lap clash and Upright s five laps.

There will be five BMX races with Girls 6-12 years riding for one lap, Boys Open three laps, 12-14 and 9-12 three laps and Boys 6-9 two laps.

Geddes Grant Ltd. Brand manager for Grace Chips Wasim Ali will be on hand to distribute prizes at the completion of the programme and distribute samples of Grace Chips, a new product that is being introduced to the local market.

The first race is expected to pedal off at 10:00 h.
