The cream of the country’s Under-15 cricketers will be in action today when the Nafico/Nalico-sponsored Inter-Asssociation limited overs cricket competition gets cracking with two matches.

At the Lusignan Cricket Club ground, East Coast will oppose West Demerara while one of the favourite teams Georgetown, will be in action against East Bank at the Diamond Community Centre ground.

The competition will continue tomorrow with two more matches. At the Everest Cricket Club ground, Georgetown will oppose West Demerara while East Bank Demerara will clash with East Coast Demerara at Diamond.

There will no matches on Monday, the date fixed for the official launching of the tournament which is scheduled at 1.30pm at the Everest Cricket Club ground.

However, the competition will resume on Tuesday with two more matches – West Demerara against East Bank Demerara at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary and Georgetown against East Coast Demerara at Diamond. The final is billed for February 10.
