For the second time this year Brutal Traxx is bringing entertainment strictly for gospel lovers with a show dubbed ‘Step out in Faith’ the biggest contemporary gospel show.

It is indeed big since if patrons thought the last show was large this one is being promoted as even larger with more bands and artistes both local and international scheduled to mash up the National Park. The concert incidentally falls on the Saturday between two Super Eight CWC 2007 matches adding to the magnitude of the event.

The line up of artistes includes Papa San and his band which would also back Kerron Ennis and DJ Nicholas. Trinidadian Sherwin Gardner is going to be bringing his band as well. This is along with a slew of artistes from Bartica, Berbice, Essequibo and Linden and five bands.

As a result of the long line up of artistes the promoters said the show has no time limit. Tickets will go on sale from today at all Swansea locations countrywide at a price of $1,000. Brutal Traxx marketing executive Duane Duncan noted the choice of the venue was because of its invulnerability to becoming soggy.

Brutal Traxx, he said, had a mandate to develop all genres of music produced by Guyanese and the studio has had engagements with several persons. The promotion, he stressed, was a collaboration between the churches of Guyana to develop and expose local musicians.

Thanking the show’s sponsors Duane stated that drinks would be non-alcoholic and food courts would be present to create that family friendly atmosphere.
