The lone survivor of the trio who allegedly robbed King Solomon Royale Cambio recently was last Friday further remanded to prison for robbing a woman.

Sylvester Chan, 37, a logger who resides at 28 Public Road Grove, East Bank Demerara was not required to plead to robbery under arms.

He pleaded not guilty to five counts of robbery under arms when he first appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court for the cambio robbery.

It is alleged that on September 29 at Georgetown while armed with a gun he robbed Anjali Abdulla of a cellular phone and $27,000 cash.

Two other men accused of being involved in the robbery at the cambio were killed in a shootout with the police.

Chan will return to court on Friday.
