Tennicia set to represent Guyana tonight

Tennicia DeFreitas is set to represent Guyana tonight at the 28th Digicel Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen pageant in St Kitts.

Tennicia, 15, will face 11 other contestants from around the Caribbean and at the end of the evening, the reigning Digicel Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen, Trinidadian Zobah Samuel will hand over the reigns.

Organisers of the pageant launched the Miss Photogenic category last week. It was conducted via online voting, which ended at noon yesterday. The winner will be announced at tonight’s show.

Though no points will be awarded to the winner of this category, she stands to gain “a very attractive award
