Body in septic tank

Police have held two more persons as investigations continue into the murder of 56-year-old Colleen Forrester, whose bloated body was recovered from inside a septic tank at Campbellville on Sunday.

A relative of the dead woman, along with two others, who police had detained shortly after the discovery, remain in custody. The two others were held yesterday, relatives have said.

The body of Forrester was discovered at just around 9.55 am on Sunday after police conducted a search on the William Street, Campbell-ville property, where she was a caretaker. They searched the place following a report by relatives that she was missing and discovered the body in the septic tank.

Forrester was reported missing after relatives were unable to ascertain her whereabouts.

They reported that she had last been seen after returning home from the Main Big Lime in the early hours of December 27.
