Guyana’s honorary consul in Barbados is urging all Guyanese nationals on the electors list to vote in the January 15 national elections.

In a press release Norman Faria advised Guyanese “in their newly adopted homeland Barbados” to exercise their democratic right. He said Guyanese contributions to that country “have helped immeasurably” in making Barbados a better place in every respect.

At the same time, Faria commended “the deep democratic traditions of Barbadian political culture including free and fair elections” and the hospitality of the people.
