Gunmen rob Kersaint Park shop

Three gunmen on Saturday stuck-up and robbed a businessman, his wife and staff at the gift shop he operates at Kersaint Park, La Bonne Intention.

A police press release said at about 3.25 pm the bandits, armed with handguns and a shot gun, held businessman Robin Persaud, his wife Juliet, their cashier and a salesgirl at gunpoint before escaping with an undisclosed sum of cash in a waiting car. Police said the silver-grey AT 212 Toyota Carina bears the registration number PKK 9063.

Persaud operates a gift shop and a MoneyGram money transfer service at the said location.
