The woman, whose body was found in a septic tank at a Campbellville home on Sunday died as a result of strangulation and blunt trauma to the head, a post- mortem examination has found.

The post-mortem examination was conducted on the body of Colleen Forrester by Dr. Nehaul Singh at the Georgetown Public Hospital yesterday. Police said that the cause of death was given as blunt trauma to the head and strangulation.

The body of Forrester was discovered at just around 9.55 am on Sunday after police conducted a search on the William Street, Campbellville property, where she was a caretaker. They searched the place following a report by relatives that she was missing and discovered the body in the septic tank.

Forrester was reported missing after relatives were unable to ascertain her whereabouts. They reported that she had last been seen after returning home from the Main Big Lime in the early hours of December 27.

Five persons including a relative have since been held by the police.
