Kids First Fund needs further US$25,000

The Kids First Fund has to raise a further US$24,596 to pay off its bills with US$31,000 so far being raised in its ‘Heart 2 Heart, Save a life’ appeal.

According to a release from the organization, the amount raised will be sent to India on Monday. “We have to find US$24,596 to pay off this bill and then start again to cover US$96,000 for the next trip to India”, the release said.

The Fund had been assisting children with heart problems to get treatment in India. The release said that citizens from Guyana, the USA and Canada contributed and expressed gratitude to the donors. Thanks were also extended to the general public “for their assistance with transportation and help to do the Kids First’s work”.
