Cocaine accused refused bail

A man was yesterday remanded to prison when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on a charge of trafficking in narcotics.

Eon Paul denied the allegation when it was read to him by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton.

It is alleged that on January 14, Paul had in his possession three grammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

The magistrate adjourned the matter to March 5.
