Man shot during row airlifted to hospital

A 33-year-old man was airlifted to the Georgetown hospital yesterday from Konawaruk in the Potaro area, after he was shot in the knee during a row with another man.

Howard Bobb, of Kaneville, East Bank Demerara, is currently a patient at the hospital. His condition is listed as stable.

Stabroek News was informed that the alleged shooter has not been arrested.

This newspaper understands too that Bobb arrived at the hospital sometime after 2 pm, in a conscious state. The warhead was still lodged in his knee and was removed by emergency room doctors.

Reports are that sometime around 10 am on Tuesday Bobb and another man had an argument and he was shot.
