The ‘A’ Division Community Policing Group (CPG) recently elected officers at its 17th annual general meeting.
In a press release the group’s management committee said Rawle Blyden was elected chairperson; Phillip Ishmael, vice chair; Beverley London, secretary; Lynette DeWeever, assistant secretary; Rupert Jones, treasurer and Bernard Bazil, assistant treasurer. The committee members are Robert Chang-Soong, Ingrid, Ingrid Gordon, Edmund Forde, Carol Smith and Jane Gordon. These persons were elected to serve the fiscal year 2008-2009.
The meeting was held on Sunday last at the Brickdam Lecture Hall Police Station.
