The Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha says the heartless killings at Lusignan and Bartica show total contempt for life and would bring untold suffering and pain.

In a press release the Sabha called on citizens and organisations to unite and work toward bringing an immediate halt to violence. Meanwhile, it extended condolences to the bereaved families and prayed “for Bhagwan Shiva to imbue them with faith and strength in these trying moments.” The Sabha also encourages citizens to be calm and to offer special prayers for the victims.
