The president of the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha, Pandit Reepu Daman Persaud says Shiva Ratri is a profound spiritual event and the day consecrated for the worship of Bhagwan Shiva. He called on devotees to attend mandirs in their respective districts today and to chant “Om Namah Shivaya.”

Special satsanghs will be held at the Rama Krishna Mandir at Barr Street, Kitty at 5.30 pm and at the Shri Krishna Mandir in Campbellville at 7.30 pm.
