The Trustees are engaged on a project to rebuild and expand the playhouse and to revive the once flourishing theatre guild. A lot of construction work has been done and it is hoped to complete the new building by the end of April.
In a press release B.K. International Inc noted that the associated company Linden Quarries had earlier made a contribution of aggregate from the quarry for building purposes and was further committed to supplying quarry material for the completion of the project.
The release said that the company was acceding to the request of Minister of Culture and Sport, Dr Frank Anthony, to show its support for the project and would solicit the assistance of other businessmen to make financial contributions.
