Gunmen last evening stuck up a businesswoman while she waited for the traffic light to change at the junction of Sheriff and Duncan streets, carting off a quantity of cash and jewellery before escaping in a taxi.
Indira Bacchus who parts owns a business place in Campbellville and operates another business outlet in the Stabroek Market was on her way home around 5:45 pm yesterday in a taxi when the car stopped at Duncan and Sheriff streets to wait for the light to change. …..
