The show was designed to promote the wide range of kitchen utensils in the ‘White Goods’ range that is only available at Courts. Hosted by Howard Lorimer the show kicked off around 10:30 am featuring the furniture giant’s staff in the role of chef’s assistants; outfitted in aprons and hats, peeling vegetables and preparing food for Marques to cook. Customers were then treated to a sumptuous spread of calaloo rice, Caribbean chicken, baked fish in lemon sauce, three bean salad and pineapple crumble with custard topping; all washed down with fruit punch.
Courts Guyana Inc. launched the ‘White Goods’ promotion last Friday with the aim of providing customers with compatible and affordable kitchen utensils. While showcasing the line of products offered by the store the promotion also provided an opportunity for customers to win prizes such as Breeze soap powder and Blue Band margarine. Customers will also have a chance to receive favoured recipes from the chef.

The promotion ends April 28 with another “Cooking at Courts” show set for April 22. The cooking show and the other promotions are also being held at the Courts Parika branch.
