The Ministry of Labour  has filed charges alleging  offences committed by  Dr. Neville Gobin,  Managing Director of Woodlands Hospital Ltd at 110-111 Carmichael Street, Georgetown.

According to a press release from the ministry one of the alleged offences is the managing director’s failure to consult with the Chief Labour Officer (CLO) as required by Section 12 (3) of the Termination of Employment and Severance Pay Act No. 19 of 1997  on possible measures that could have been taken to avert the ceasing of operations within the laundry department  on March 31, 2008……
