No clipping of Blue Wing here despite Suriname crash

There has been no disruption of operations of Blue Wing airline here although one of its aircraft crashed recently in the interior of Suriname, killing all on board.

Blue Wing operates a scheduled service out of Guyana to Suriname and its ground operations are managed by Roraima Airways.  Proprietor of Roraima Airways, Gerry Gouveia in an invited comment on Thursday confirmed that there has been no interruption of the airline’s service.
An Antonov 28, owned by Blue Wing Airline, crashed just 1800 metres away from landing at an airstrip in the gold mining town of Benzdorp in the interior of the country close to the French Guiana border. This newspaper has learnt that only some of the bodies have been identified since they were burnt beyond recognition. Reports have so far indicated that no Guyanese was on board the aircraft.
