Cotton Tree resident moves to have Land Court ruling set aside

Cotton Tree resident Mansoor Ally-Khan has filed a motion to set aside a ruling by the Commissioner of Title and Judge of the Land Court in Berbice, Kumar Doraisami and the matter has been fixed for hearing on April 18.

The defence is contending that on December 6, 2007, Justice Doraisami made an order in favour of an application pertaining to Lot 7 ‘A’ Cotton Tree Village. An opposition was filed and the hearing was called on December 6 before the judge. …..
