The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) says it has been following closely the situation as it unfolds between the Palestinians and Israelis and it deplores the continued “vicious and murderous attacks on the Palestinian people by the Israeli military.”

In a press release the party said every day many civilians including innocent children are being killed indiscriminately by soldiers firing rockets from aircrafts and helicopters. “Israel has turned the Gaza Strip into a huge prison, with deteriorating conditions,” the party said, adding that their actions have destroyed electricity and sewerage systems which have compounded the misery of the Palestinians. …..
