A 54-year-old hire car driver was placed on $75,000 bail after he pleaded not guilty to a charge of simple larceny before Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

It is alleged that on April 20, Keith Chester of 7 Vigilance north, East Coast Demerara stole a number of items valued $230,000 from the car of Lochan Persaud. He pleaded not guilty to the charge……
