Winners in the Fogarty’s Mother’s Day Promotion and Essay Competition were given their prizes at a ceremony held at the store’s ground floor on Wednesday.

In a press release the store said Bonita Forsythe of Bachelor’s Adventure, East Coast Demerara won the first prize of one cabinet. Celeste Roxanne Apple of 4 Miles Housing Scheme, Potaro Road, won the second prize of one single wardrobe; Sherry Adams of Stanleytown Village, West Coast Demerara (WCD) won the third prize of one chaise lounge; Fazeena Rafeek of Cedar Court Lamaha Gardens, won the fourth prize of one grocery hamper; Marlene Dookhoo of D’Aguiar’s Park, Houston, won the fifth prize of one crystal set; Maria Nadesar of Owen Street, Kitty, won the sixth prize of one dinner set and Laila Farley of Meadow Brook Gardens won the seventh prize of lunch for four persons……
