The Guyana House of Nyahbinghi is hosting a three-day celebration in honour of the 45th anniversary of the Organization of African Unity (OAU).

In a press release the House said the celebrations start on Sunday and will be hosted at the Wise Rock Tabernacle Centre at Linden. The programme includes three days of drumming from 6 pm to 6 am, the sharing of ital food and herbal medicine and discussions on biblical reasoning. It said too all Rastafari patriarch and matriarchs will be honoured. The group also intends to host discussions on current issues in conjunction with Rastafarian traditions, and call a meeting for craftsmen interested in participating in Carifesta X. …..
